Beating Bad Bites
The purpose of orthodontics is to fix malocclusions. Malocclusions happen when your teeth or jaw don’t line up like they’re supposed to. You might hear our team call them “bad bites.”
Bite Pattern Classes
At McNutt Orthodontics, we group bites into three categories:
- Class I: A favorable bite that looks and functions normally.
- Class II: The upper teeth and jaw stick out farther than they should.
- Class III: The lower teeth and jaw are positioned in front of the upper teeth.
Regardless of the problem, we can restore your bite and realign your smile to give you the level of confidence you deserve.
